In order to give our students the best opportunity to learn, the following rules are in place:
Always follow The Rebel Way:
Be Kind
Be Safe
Be Respectful
Be Responsible
BE YOUR BEST!
Note: Guidelines, rules, and consequences can be found in the school's student handbook
(*Dress code, chewing gum, cell phones, and other information).
Mrs. Pharris' Library Tips:
* Enter and leave the library quietly
* Walk, don't run
* Use a shelf marker before removing a book
* Share bookshelf space - take turns
* Use appropriate volume
* Be a good listener and do not interrupt others
* Keep all legs of the chair on the floor (No rocking or leaning back)
* Keep the library gum free
* Electronic devices should remain off and personal items should be put away
* Keep the library neat and clean
* Follow procedures and directions when turning in and checking out books
Book Care:
* Handle all books with care and respect (Do not bend the pages or cover)
* Always remove the book from the shelf by the middle of the spine
* Always use a bookmark or piece of paper to save your place
* Be responsible and return books on time
* Protect your book from food, drinks, pets, water, and younger children
* Keep your book clean (do not draw, write, or color in or on a library book)
Damaged Books:
Accidents do happen, but we encourage students to be responsible by keeping their library books safe from food, water, pets, and younger children. If a student damages a book beyond repair, then he or she will be responsible for providing payment to replace the damaged book.
Rebels are READY, RESPONSIBLE
and RESPECTFUL!
